Decsion of Energy GC

Hi,

        We are extremely sad to announce that we will have to scrap the energy GC for this year.

This decision is in regard to the faulty meters readings which have been brought to our notice.

We have had lengthy meetings with the Dean SA, GSAA's and the techfest manager who is 

in charge with the energy GC. However all suggestions to account for error in the meter's reading

remain Inappropriate and thus we have finally decided with Dean's Permission to Scrap the energy

 GC. Please know that this only in terms of the GC points, however the money for the GC shall be 

distributed, since the Dean believes the effort to participate in energy GC should remain rewarded.

But as the readings are wrong we need to discuss with the Dean once more regarding

how the money will be distributed . The result of which will be told here at the earliest.

Again our deepest apologies for scrapping the energy GC but we have little option in this matter

and we will do out level best to ensure that the competition is carried out fairly if it is held in the

future.
