Hi all,

With the end of the academic year in sight, nominations are invited for the post of Technovation manager for the academic year 2011-12. The following rules apply :

1) The candidate should have completed atleast 3 semesters during their course as a student at IIT Bombay and should not be passing out before April 2012.

2) The candidate should have no active backlogs or dropped courses.

3) The candidate should not be a holder of any other institute level post for the period mentioned above.

The ideal candidate would be expected to take forward the program initiated this year to new heights. Please note that as part of the application form to be filled online (link above), you'll be asked to write answers to the following questions:

1. Rate the Technovation program for its success on a scale of 0-10. Specify what would be the success parameters according to you.
2. What were the shortcomings/failures this year? How would you ensure they are not repeated next year?
3. Given the chance to collaborate with any three organizations (that have a footprint in India), who would you choose, and why? How do you believe they can add value to Technovation? [Note: Your organization may be the Government, a start-up, or a Fortune 500 company. No restrictions]

We recommend that you put in a lot of thought and research while answering the above, since they will form an important part of your application, and you'll be expected to justify them in the interview.

Ruchir Gupta
