Web and Coding Club is holding a workshop on Android in collaboration with
the FOSSEE group of IITB.

Time - 10am - 1pm & 3pm - 5 pm
Date - 6th March, Sunday
Venue - PC Labs, Electrical Department

The workshop will be taken by Mr. Vivek Khurana, an expert in this field.
He has taken this workshop at many places before including IITD.

The details of the workshop are as follows -
-- Introduction to android SDK.
-- Introduction to android emulator and platform tools
-- Anatomy of andorid application
-- Components of android application
-- Andorid project from command line
-- Basic android application
-- Android View layer
-- Working with sql-lite database
-- Managing android application lifecycle
-- Android application widgets.

Pre-requisites
-- Knowledge of Java language
-- Machine used during the training must have Java 6 and ant installed
-- Workshop will be based on android 2.3

It is recommended that you bring your own laptops with Java 6 and Apache
Ant 1.8 installed. In case you cannot, we will provide machines with the
above installed.

There have been some changes in time and venue for the Android Workshop.
Here are the details -

ANDROID APP MAKING WORKSHOP

AAGOMANI 2011 and Web and Coding Club are holding a workshop on Android in



collaboration with the FOSSEE group of IITB.

Time - 3PM onwards (4-5 Hours workshop)

Date - 6th March, Sunday
Venue - Hall 22,VMCC


The workshop will be taken by Mr. Vivek Khurana, an expert in this field


along with 2 IITB students displaying the Application developed by the
two.
Mr. Vivek Khurana has taken this workshop at many places before including

IITD.

higher version installed.
