House M.D. Original Television Soundtrack is a soundtrack album from the television series House. It was released on September 18, 2007 by Nettwerk Records.[1] The soundtrack includes full length versions of songs featured in the show, such as "See the World" by Gomez, "Walter Reed" by Michael Penn, and "Teardrop", the show's opening theme, performed by Massive Attack. It also featured songs that were recorded especially for the series that were not previously released, such as a cover of the Christina Aguilera song "Beautiful" by Elvis Costello, and covers of The Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and Cab Calloway's "Minnie The Moocher" by Band From TV.[1]

The House, MD official television soundtrack was released on September 18, 2007 by Nettwerk Records.[2] The CD includes two performances by Band from TV, a band formed by actor Greg Grunberg, that features television actors singing and playing instruments for charity. Hugh Laurie, the lead actor of House, is part of this band.[3] The band was contacted by NBC in 2007 about performing on the soundtrack, to which they happily agreed.[4]

Chad Grischow of IGN called the soundtrack "a decent collection of too much music you probably already have on your iPod", and stated that "You will be much happier if you pick apart the pieces you are missing and grab a few songs rather than the whole album".[5] Grischow graded the soundtrack with a 6.9 on a ten scale.[5]

In a successful attempt to attract younger audiences, Obayashi asked Yoshino to include tracks from his rock band Godiego, which also makes a cameo in the movie. Fusing elements of funk, jazz, rock, and romantic ballads, the soundtrack captures the absurd and whimsical nature that is HOUSE, contrasted with its experimental scenes of horror and madness.

Ever since I really started to get into experimental music one thing that I have occasionally seen is this concept of a re-imagined soundtrack. I have a few of these myself for A Field in England and Valhalla Rising. The concept has always intrigued me and considering how it feels like a lot of what I do exists almost in a vacuum I have felt that an important milestone in my growth would be finding something to work on to break out of that vacuum.

Imagine my surprise when I heard from my friend Kyle that he was crowdfunding a movie! I've occasionally contributed a track or two to some of my friends short films however this presented an entirely different opportunity!

This is probably one of the longest projects that I have worked on in recent memory especially when it comes to the track count. Hopefully things line up with Skinamarink, I 've had to shuffle around more than a few tracks however the run-time just almost lines up so fingers crossed there. Let me know how this one works out, it is admittedly my first time trying something like this so I know I still have substantial room to improve. If things need to be shifted around a bit it's no problem haha.

I should have a normal ep coming out pretty soon. Tracks are ready just needs mastering.

Before I forget I like to give a big shoutout to Kyle for supporting me in this endeavor I really appreciate it. $(".tralbum-about").last().bcTruncate(TruncateProfile.get("tralbum_about"), "more", "less"); credits released March 3, 2023 license all rights reserved tags Tags ambient ambient drone dark ambient drone experimental film score sound track warm drone Edmonton Shopping cart subtotal USD taxes calculated at checkout Check out about James Parrott Edmonton, Alberta

House of Gucci is based on the true story that resulted in a murder in broad daylight and a legendary fashion brand named for the Guccis that no longer contains a single member of the Gucci family. The Ridley Scott crime drama stars two-time Academy Award nominee Adam Driver and Academy Award winner Lady Gaga. The cast also includes musician and Academy Award winner Jared Leto, who is hardly recognizable under his three hours' worth of makeup.

The soundtrack for House of Gucci contains quite a few familiar favorites from artists most viewers will recognize, but interestingly, does not contain any music from Lady Gaga, who won an Oscar for Best Original Song in 2019, nor 30 Seconds To Mars singer Jared Leto. The soundtrack does, however, feature songs from the likes of Donna Summer, George Michael, David Bowie, and Blondie. Below is a list of every song in House of Gucci and where to hear them in the movie.

For audiences who can't get enough of all the hits jam-packed into House of Gucci's soundtrack, there's some good news. Not only is the House of Gucci soundtrack available in full on Spotify, but it can also be purchased on CD and vinyl as of February 2022. Despite a major Oscars 2022 snub, House of Gucci has been well-received overall, and sales of the stellar soundtrack are sure to make a decent haul.

House of Gucci gave a sneak preview of its soundtrack in the first official trailer, which featured "Heart of Glass" by Blondie, one of the songs that actually appears in the film. The second official trailer for House of Gucci used another instantly recognizable song, "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Annie Lennox, Dave Stewart, and Eurythmics. This second track doesn't appear during House of Gucci itself, but it effectively sets the mood of dangerous glamour and deception on which the film focuses.

A dynamic opening with majestic chords and a pulsating woodwind ostinato sets the stage for this festival selection or concert opener. The air of nobility throughout the piece evokes the upper house of the Medieval English Parliament for which the work is named. Uplifting music that incorporates fanfare-style playing with legato passages and active percussion writing. Certain to be a hit!
