Riak/Erlang Meetup

Hi TechMeetupers,

I have had an offer from the Riak Community Manager to set up a small meetup about Riak, Erlang and Distributed Systems in Edinburgh. I think it will probably take the form of several interested geeks going down the pub once a month and having a few discussions, rather than meeting in a room and having proper presentations. Who would be interested in such a meetup?

For those of you who don't know about Riak [1], it's a highly available distributed database based on Amazon's Dynamo Paper [2]. It is a highly-scalable, fault-tolerant store with built-in map-reduce processing and secondary and fulltext indexing. It recently reached version 1.0, which you can read more about here: [3].
