Hello Everyone: Happy Father’s Day to all of the father’s and the many men that have served in the father role throughout so many of our lives. Special thanks to my dad, Robert “Bud” McElaney who sacrificed much to support and raise his six children. He taught me about politeness, respect, honesty, kindness, empathy, sacrifice, friendliness, hard work, good humor, patience, and love. Most importantly he showed me what a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, grandfather, father in-law, brother in-law, friend, and neighbor is supposed to be.

I have been blessed with three incredible sons, Patrick, Sean, and Liam and I have thoroughly enjoyed being their Dad, and their friend in adulthood. Through the circle of life I now have the pleasure of watching Patrick as a loving and caring Dad with his four beautiful children.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend celebrating and remembering your fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, friends, and the special men in your lives.

Sincerely,

Jack

A video artwork by French artist Florian Fouche at Parliament gallery’s booth at the Liste Art Fair shows the artist’s father, who is hemiplegic, navigating the streets of Paris in a wheelchair.
