Hello CO-TLF!

Please see the below message from Jamie Hurley at CDE regarding sharing success stories around media literacy!  GWSD was proud to share this story from last year - and hope to have more to share in the future!  I encourage everyone to share - as there is so much incredible work happening around media literacy in our Colorado schools!

Dear Educators,

I hope this message finds you well.

The Colorado Department of Education and Media Literacy Now is looking to highlight Colorado schools who are making a positive impact by supporting students in developing media literacy skills and implementing best practices in this area.

If you or your school have a success story, whether it’s an innovative program, a classroom initiative, or a collaborative effort, that has helped students think critically about media, information, and healthy social media use we would love to hear from you!

Our goal is to showcase these efforts to inspire others across the state. If you’re interested in having your story featured or have questions, please reach out to me directly at hurl...@cde.state.co.us.

To support your work, the Colorado Department of Education Media Literacy Resource Bank offers tools and guidance for educators.

Thank you for all you do to empower students with the skills they need to navigate today’s media landscape.

Thank you,

Jamie
