Villa Thai Sawan is a magnificent Thai-Balinese 7-bedroom villa tucked on the beautiful mountainside of Kalim Bay in Phuket, Thailand. It is only 5 minutes away from downtown Patong, yet completely private and quiet with its sea view to the front side and forested mountains to the rear side. The villa is available for rent and for sale.
This accommodation is located around 5 minutes' walk from Ban Po Beach, not so far from the restaurant Freedom Beach Sunset Bar. Also, the villa is about a 10-minute drive from Moo 1 and within 10 minutes' drive of Chinese Temple. This accommodation is a good starting point for Mae Nam's sports attractions, including Santiburi Samui Country Club Golf Course, which is 10 minutes away by car.
At the Mae Nam property, guests can unwind in a patio and a balcony and benefit from an air conditioner, along with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This Mae Nam accommodation offers a tub, a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet, as well as comfort amenities such as a hair dryer and bath sheets.

We have a deliberate policy of planting treesaround the property, and acquiring existing woodlands wherethe owners intend to covert such woods into rice fields.We plant and grow organic herbs, fruit and vegetables. Whetheryou are enjoying a traditional Thai massage here, takinga boat ride amongst the lotus flowers of Nong Han lake,enjoying meals, visiting a school or simply conversing inEnglish with the inhabitants of the area, you can be assuredthat the local villagers are benefiting directly.
We have to date acquired a plot of approximately 20 rai(8 acres or 3.2 hectares) of existing woods, home to numerousspecies of wildlife, and an area originally slated for conversionfor the production of cash crops. We have planted an additional20 rai with a variety of trees - including teak and otherslow-growing, indigenous hardwoods. This wood protectionand tree planting is funded with proceeds from our guests'stays at the holiday rental. We are also proud that throughthe experience of helping to operate the property, a numberof villagers can now afford better schooling for their children,whilst others have secured employment in international hotelgroups.
We do all we can to assist the local Nam Thieng primaryschool, which provides education to around 165 of the localvillagers' children between the ages of approximately 4-13years. The school has started to earn a name for itselfas a guardian of indigenous traditions and practices, andhas often put on exhibitions in other areas of the kingdom.Teachers are delighted to welcome guests to the facility:this gives the schoolchildren the possibility of practicingtheir English, and guests the opportunity to make directdonations to the school, either directly in or in the formof used computers, educational materials and games, clothing,blankets and sporting equipment etc.

The majority of our electric use come from our own solar field just 300m away from the property, with a 206kw system that generates all the power that The Resort Villa requires during daytime, including for air conditioning, the pools and the aquarium. Anchor points have been installed in the harbor to reduce coral damage.

Our aquarium is one of the 3 biggest fish tanks privately owned in the world! It measures 15m X 4m X 4m and holds 1,200 different fish. Some of our fish include Peach Anthias, Six-stripe Wrasse, Mandarin Dragonet, Saddleback Clownfish, Lined Surgeonfish, Banggai Cardinalfish, Two Spot Coby, Banded Coral Shrimp, and the Vlaming's Unicornfish.

Chitralada Royal Villa (Thai: พระตำหนักจิตรลดารโหฐาน; RTGS: Chit Lada Raho-than) is a royal villa located within Dusit Palace. This villa was permanent-residence of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), the longest-serving monarch of Thailand and Queen Sirikit. He moved there after the death of his older brother, King Rama VIII in the Grand Palace. The palace grounds, which are surrounded by a moat and guarded by the royal guards, also contain the Chitralada School, initially established for the children of the royal family and palace staff. Chitralada Royal Villa has a Chitralada railway station which served for the royal family who lived in the villa. Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti was a pupil in the Chitralada School, the school is considered the most exclusive in Thailand.
