Hutch 3G data usage in iPad

I'm using a iPad with a Hutch prepaid data plan. Is there a way to check the Data Usage (Account Balance) of the account without the SIM card being removed from the ipad. The standard method of sending a Text message (rather SMS bal to 344)
does not work with the iPad.

 

The menu driven facility to check the balance provided with the SIM card under Hutch Services too did not work for me. Is there a way to get this done or else an application that would help. (Sorry no sinhala @ Office)
