මිතුරනි,
මෙට්‍රොපොලිටන් ලාගෙ ඇසෙම්බ්ල්ඩ් PC ගත්ත අය ඉන්නවාද? ඒ වයෙ තත්වය ගැන කොමෙන්ට් කරන්න පුලුවන්ද? ටිකක් බර computing වැඩට තමා එක හොයන්නෙ (Numerical Modelling software වලට). Processor eken සෑහෙන්න වැඩ වෙනවා. පහත මොඩෙල් එක reliability හොඳ වෙයිද?

සේවාව හොදයි, ගෙදරට ඇවිත් හදනව කැඩුනොත්, වොරන්ටි ක්ලේම් කරනව ස්ටිකර් එක ගලවලා නැතිනම්. හැබැයි ගෙදරට ඇවිත් හදනවට නම් අය කරනව.

desktop එකක් ගන්නව නම්  Core i5 2nd Generation Processor එකක් තියෙන එකක් වත් ගන්න.

Win XP - 32 bit තමයි දුවන්න වෙන්නෙ software limitation නිසා. Win XP - 32 bit වල උපරිම performance වලට Core i3 generation 2 හොඳටම ප්‍රමාණවත් කියලා IT එක්කෙනෙක් කිව්වා. Core i5 නම් 64 bit වලට තමා වඩා හොඳ කියලත් කිව්වා.මේක ඇත්තද?

Windows XP පරන OS එකක් නිසා ඒකෙ ලිමිටේෂන් වැඩියි අදත් එක්ක සංසන්දනය කරන විට. මට නම් ෂුවර් නෑ i3 වලත් හොදට perform කරනවද කියන එක. හේතුව XP හැදුවෙ multi- core cpu/processor නැති කාලෙ. ඒ නිසා Windows XP සමග multi-core cpu භාවිතා කරල ගොඩාක් වැඩ ගන්න බැරි වේවි.

එයා එහෙම කියන්න ඇත්තෙ XP සහය දක්වන්නෙ උපරිම processors 2යි කියන මතේ ඉදල වෙන්න පුළුවන්. නමුත් මම quad-core processor එකක් සමග XP කෙටි කාලයක් භාවිතා කලා. කිසිම ගැටළුවක් ඇතිවුනේ නෑ. නමුත් performance වෙනස් වෙන්න පුළුවන් drivers නැති වුනොත්. දැන් Windows XP drivers හැම එකකම තියෙනවද කියන එකත් ප්‍රශ්නයක්.

3GB වලට වඩා memory භාවිතා කරනව නම්, හෝ  multi tasking App එකක් නම් හොදම දේ අළුත් 64-bit OS එකකට යන එක.
