Subject: S.E.E. MAIL WARNING #5A: (UNVERIFIED INTERNAL SENDER)

 

This message has our agency’s email address, but came from outside. The confidentiality, integrity or authenticity of the message cannot be guaranteed. Possible causes of this warning include:

a.       The mail may have been forwarded by a distribution (List serve) service

b.      The sender is working away from our agency, and using an ISP mail account

c.       Someone other than the sender may have sent the message and falsified the email address

Recommended action: If you have doubts about the message authenticity, verify the message with the sender by some other means

Also again, to clarify,

Office Web Apps is currently offered to individual Windows Live users
through SkyDrive but is not yet integrated to Live@Edu.

I understand the integrated offering will look similar to the business
deployment option:

Do any of you use Office Web Apps in your school? Enough to want SSO?
Or do we just wait until, as Patrick says, it is integrated to
Live@edu?

I guess we will have to wait to see what is in OWA on Live@edu as it
will make that choice easier.

At the moment I can see the potential for getting our senior school
students (Y5-10) to use OWA and create a public folder that their
teacher can directly access their content on for marking, but the
extra functionality of the Sharepoint version of OWA - depending on
what ends up being in the Live@Edu release - could enhance that.
