FYI really - I know a few schools use Meraki for managing various endpoints


From the article:

Key Dates for Planning:

  • December 3, 2025: Cisco Meraki SM End-of-Sale announced. 

  • June 3, 2026: Last day to purchase new 1-year and 3-year Meraki SM licenses.  

  • 5-year licenses have been discontinued to align with the support timeline. 

  • June 3, 2029: End of support for Meraki SM.  

This timeline provides you with: 

  • ~6 months to review options and purchase any final Meraki SM licenses if needed. 

  • Up to 3 years to select and migrate to a new MDM solution.


A reminder the MoE funds M365 (Intune) and Google Workspace (includes an MDM) so you could transition from Meraki to one of those two and use the MoE funded MDM to manage most endpoint OS.
