Hi all,

Have any schools here got these deployed as tela devices?
I have two users reporting the cursor jumping around randomly on the screen, to the corners especially and also closing windows (if its top right on Windows)

The usual update all firmware/drivers etc has not resolved the issue. It can take hours for this to happen, either plugged into power or not, with or without any external mouse, without the pen etc.

I haven’t yet tried disabling the pen/touch but is this my next option?

Hi, have not had this particular issue with them but have you checked for super fine cracks in the screen or random contaminants. I have had this issue when the screen of different touch laptops has had tiny cracks that start behaving weirdly after a while.  Disabling the touchscreen works for that but makes the device less useful.

Jeffrey.

Hey all,

No Bluetooth mice but I did see a USB dongle connected to one of the laptops - I was told it did this with and without but I'd rather have the user remove completely just in case there is RF/AES/EMR interference?
For now the pen is disabled to see if its interference - possibly from that USB adaptor.

We don't seem to have any issues with HP flip/touch devices that users likely use dongles and adaptors with.

In my experience it's not so much "RF interference" as it is "teacher walking around with mouse in their jacket pocket" (making phantom movements and clicks).
