We have a class of 30 trying to access Mathletics - using Chrome browsers with the flash sites added, but still students get problems - they will be halfway through a course when they get the error, random, clear out history/cookies, works for a bit then crashes out.

Ugh. Flash.

(Sorry it's not a helpful answer)

Go back to Mathletics and ask them to upgrade their site to one that doesn't use Flash.

Problem is they are mid upgrade, all their new stuff is html5 but given teaching inertia most of the favorite tried and true resources are still flash.

Main issue no is unfortunately chrome, they ripped out the all users integrated flash that worked nicely and added a per user nightmare full of fail.

Possibilities for getting round it: use Edge - no really - which still includes an up to date version of flash, just use policies to enable it for flash for all the mathlettics domains which are avaliable in their documentation.

Option two, push the msi for the Adobe flash plug in, it is still junk but better than what chrome does now.

Option three, if chrome books you have no options other than set the safe flash sites policy in the manager and hope plus have them run it in incognito mode so it does not trip over its own refuse each time it runs.

I got hold of Mathletics, but given the timing, it was after school. Interestingly while they didn't say they had a problem, the tech said " we currently have an outage on Mathletics student console" which made me wonder if they were having other technical issues that were causing our problems. I also got the teachers some time ago to upgrade their courses to HTML5 only, but weirdly enough the teacher dashboard is not. I can't see anywhere where you can change the courses, so am figuring either they all are.
