So, how many of you are impacted?

While we're okay on this end because we maintain a Hybrid Environment, I'm pretty sure many will be having a bad day. It has become increasingly noticeable how unstable MS Azure and other cloud services have become over the past month, far more than usual.

Note: Do people have a contingency plan for when these hit their peak and turn into a weekly+ outage?

Not noticing anything weird about any of that at my new job at Otago Uni, a very heavily into MS cloud place.

Multiple sites impacted! Not through direct use of MS platforms, but users are reporting external supplier sites failing such as Xero and OfficeMax. One provided a screenshot that had a line showing "F5 site" in the error - not sure if that's N4L infrastructure or external providers' infrastructure:

MS is rerouting traffic, as is HERO, the main consensus seems to be a backbone provider issue.

The post-incident report says it was a hardware failure in a
Microsoft-managed router causing routing/peering issues.
