Greetings all,


For those of you who have hybrid setups for the purpose of migrating your emails to O365. I am wonder if you guys can share some help here.


I am getting the following request when migrating across: Does anyone know how to fix this??


Error: MigrationPermanentException: The target mailbox doesn‎'t have an SMTP proxy matching ‎'kingswoodcollege0.mail.onmicrosoft.com‎'. --> The target mailbox doesn‎'t have an SMTP proxy matching ‎'kingswoodcollege0.mail.onmicrosoft.com‎'.


Does anyone know how to fix this??

You need to set up your domain first. You are using the default onmicrosoft.com one.

I think you just need to add the extra smtp address to the users as it is used for routing while in hybrid.  Should be able to update the address policy to add it to all the accounts.
