Afternoon, team.

Possibly a stupid question (can't see wood for the trees) but I'll ask anyway as I've been going around in circles for 30min...

Some students here use the extension Read&Write for Google Chrome;

Today a student popped in who couldn't access it due to age restrictions & the extension probably needs consent - this is fairly easy usually, except that we just can't seem to find the extension anywhere to approve it.

Has any of you managed to find & approve/consent this extension for under 18 access? If so, how/where did you manage to locate it in Workspace Admin?

Cheers in advance,
D.

Hi Dael,

I thought age consent was related to Google's additional services (like YouTube, Maps etc), the one you need parent consent for every year.

And managed apps made available were the usual Devices>Chrome>Apps & extensions (Add Chrome App/Extension ID) then just allowing permissions/adding a policy.

We're not a Google school here so I'm not across it that well.

Hi,
We have it for all our students and it's sitting under Apps & Extensions>Users and Browsers tab.

Kind regards,

Hi All,
This is related to the allowlisting apps/extensions for an OU.
Check out the extensions tab in ChromeOS or get a user to request access again.
