Hi,
Anyone else having problems making Forticlient work on the latest HP 865 with the AMD chip running Win11 22H2? We’ve recently received 2 units and both refuse to connect to the Fortigate. We’ve tried downloading the latest from the web but that also fails. No problem on 840s and 850s (Intel chips) on both Win10 and Win11 both of which are on 22H2.

Hi David,
Thanks. We tried some of the steps but unfortunately, it looks like a SSL VPN problem. We use IPSEC with N4L’s Fortigates. We’re trying downgrading driver versions to Win10 ones since it seems to fix it for Realtek cards but our units are using Qualcomms.

Thanks Mark.
We normally test all our apps and processes with new models but TELA didn’t have a demo unit available and these 2 were up for renewal (we had been expecting that the HP 850 replacement would be the Z book which we fully tested but the carpet got pulled from under us and we’re suddenly told we only have the 865 as an option).

I don’t see this being communicated but it appears to be a driver issue. N4L is looking into it but I’d advise anyone getting an HP 865 G9 to downgrade the OS back to Win10.
Our own internal testing seems to indicate a problem with the NDIS driver, as disassociating it from the Wi-Fi interface allows Forticlient to connect but then none of the SMB drives work either so a pretty pointless workaround for us.
