If you want to use the same system for truancy management (is this an issue for your school?), then consider another early notification provider - https://www.education.govt.nz/school/digital-technology/managing-data/early-notification-messages-about-absences/

But many years since I was involved in this space, so unsure who else is now available.

Hi, all - please note that TxtStream is still operating (in particular those for early notification of absences), apart from the "Easy" service which was just an optional tool for sending general-purpose messages to parents which was closed down for security reasons,
