Google file sharing glitch flagged as inappropriate

Hi,

I've had a few reports today of Google Docs not being able to be shared as "You cannot share this item because it has been flagged as inappropriate"

Both staff and students.

The docs were certainly not inappropriate.

One teacher made a copy and shared that just fine..

Steve?  You heard this one before?

I've seen this happen today with a staff member. Made a copy and re-shared.

I have been hearing of this today too, a doc, a spreadsheet and a movie.  All are definitely not inappropriate.

Have you figured out a way to get around this

Only make a copy. Then share that.

If you use the pop up to click to say it's not inappropriate does that allow sharing ?

I will check our error logs and see what I can find out. It may be that our definition of inapproprite has been tightened.

If you could send me a screenshot  of one of the error messages I will see what i can find.

Might be too late to catch it Steve - all of the staff I've spoken to this morning that experienced the issue yesterday are now able to share the very same files without trouble this morning.

Good to know it has been taken care of though.
