Filtering User Reports by Group

I am trying to report on 'Classroom - last used time' for a subject-specific group of students in my Google admin console (Reports - User Reports - Accounts).
I can filter by a date range and also by OU but can't get the group filter working. I have added the relevant group to the filtering groups list. The group I am filtering by is a KAMAR-generated subject group. Has anyone else tried this group filtering feature and if so, have they got it to work?
