Greetings,

This is Swapnil, with new latest update. The users of the Social Networking Websites are getting their profiles hacked day-by-day. The users are feeling helpless are their password are being reset. This happen because of lack of Internet knowledge and security information, as i have said earlier in this article "People follow up where are directed on Internet". Same is case here with the social networking websites, hackers create fake Login pages which is a method popularly known as phishing. Read the article before this which i have stated information about phishing.

From last 3-4 days, I m seeing my friends profile getting hacked on Orkut popular social networking website in Asia and Brazil, Their profile content such as social fields, status fields are been replaced by the porn or adult related links. The hacker according to me is an European citizen declared after my research. My Friends are feeling helpless as they cannot log in and edit their profile which is replaced by the porn and adult related material. Such things can be drastic to destroy ones personality.

If have helped my two friends namely in orkut, and followed them the procedure how to reinstate your account.
How to reinstate hacked orkut profile :-
1. Go to Google Accounts - https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount?hl=en-US.
Here you can change your password by answering the security questions that you might know if have entered correctly at the time of registration.
2. If you can't follow up the above method, then request a password reset which can be found at this https://www.google.com/accounts/ForgotPasswd?fpOnly=1 page.
For this method to work you should know the password that belongs to the other mail client. for eg: Yahoo ! for (myor...@yahoo.com)
3. The other method you can follow is nothing, Just contact Google and they will be there to support you.
