Dear Student,

Greetings of the Day.

The following is the TCS recruitment process and examination schedule for 2013 batch campus recruitment drive.  Eligibility criteria & documents to be provided for the On campus recruitment for FY13 are as follows:. 

Schedule: 

27th September - Online Test at Computer Labs of IT Building & time table will be displayed on the date of examination.

28th to 30th September - Interviews (at IT Dept. of IT Building) and panel details will be intimated later.

1st October 2012 at 9.00 am - Result Declaration at Mother Theresa Auditorium. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

Consistent 60% throughout academics (i.e. SSC, Intermediate & B.Tech / M.Tech CGPA upto latest semester). Even 59.99% is not eligible for appearing the test / drive.  Some students are having below 60% at SSC / Intermediate lever.  They are also not eligible for attending the drive.

Maximum of 2 backlogs may be permitted, however it is mandatory for the candidate to clear the backlog before he / she join TCS. Students appearing in special supplementary exams in May 2013 are not eligible to receive confirmation / joining letters from TCS though they receive the provisional appointments / offer letters immediately after the recruitment.

Maximum upto 24 Months break (Education / Work) is permissible with valid reasons & proofs (Strictly two years gap between academic will be allowed with valid reasons). Hence, students are instructed to ensure the above criteria for attending the test otherwise, their selection will be cancelled without any intimation.

Education after 10th should be completed in stipulated period (within the specified duration of College / University). Age Minimum 18 Years & Maximum 28 Years.

Pl carry the following on the date of interview:

1) TCS downloaded bio-data & admit card (affix photo on admit card)

2) Multiple copies of Latest Resume with two passport size photos

2) Xerox copies of all the certificates

3) Copy of Project Report, if any.

4) Photo ID / student ID card.

Code & Conduct during the campus drive:

During online examination, all the eligible students are instructed to carry their ID cards, pen, pencil, eraser, admit card issued by TCS with proper CT number & other details, A4 size white sheets for rough works.  No other electronic gadgets are allowed in the examination halls / premises.  If found, they will be confiscated and the students will be debarred from appearing further campus drives including TCS.

Dress Code for all campus drives: 

GENTS: Dark pant & light color shirt inserted (tucked), tie, belt, shoes and tucked neatly

LADIES: Light color / white chudidars with chunny. Short model tops and other dresses are not allowed.

The detailed time table, rooms allotment, waiting hall information will be intimated from time to time.  Hence, all the students are advised to be in touch with the respective Placement Coordinators only.

NOTE: EXEMPTION OF ONLINE TEST FOR STUDENTS OF MORE THAN 75% THROUGHOUT THE ACADEMICS WILL BE INTIMATED TO THE STUDENTS AFTER CONSULTING TCS AUTHORITIES ON 26.09.2012.  IF NOT APPROVED, ALL THE STUDENTS HAVE TO ATTEND THE ONLINE TEST ON 27.09.2012 WITHOUT FAIL.
