Greetings from Techfest 2014, IIT Bombay!
Techfest 2014 heartily congratulates you for getting shortlisted for Accommodation.
Accommodation will be provided to -

Log on to http://www.techfest.org/home/acco_payment with this given username and password, to avail accommodation, the entire procedure is online.
The accommodation charges are INR 1800 + 100 (Caution Money) = INR 1900 per head for 4 days.
Accommodation will be given purely on first-come-first-serve basis. Kindly finish your payment on the portal on or before 14th December 2013 to avail the accommodation facility being provided by Techfest 2014.
Note: The certificate will be issued to every team member, irrespective of whether he/she has attended the competition/workshop or not. You need to bring their Identity card for this purpose.
Payment Policy:-
· If you cancel your registration prior to 25th December, 2013(11:59pm), you will receive a refund equivalent to 85% of the fee. The remainder of your payment will be retained to cover expenses for processing your registration and holding space at the center.
· No refunds will be given if you cancel your registration after 26th December, 2013(00:00 am).
· Cash refunds are not available (for accommodation cancellation). The refund will be processed automatically and will be credited back to the original credit/debit card or bank account after the festival.
· The caution money (INR 100) has to be collected at the accommodation desk (Old Swimming Pool IITB). The caution money will be returned at specific timings only.
Accommodation Rules:
1. Accommodation will be provided from 1000 hours on 2nd January, 2014 onwards. You will be required to vacate the room on or before 0800 hours on 6th January, 2014.
2. You will be required to bring the following in order to avail the accommodation:
· College ID card of every team member.
· Printout of confirmation of accommodation mail (i.e. printout of this mail and attached documents).
· Gate pass for all your electronic gadgets, such as laptops, cameras, etc.Link for Gate pass: http://techfest.org/gate_pass.pdf
Accommodation will be provided only on production of all above listed things. Please note that no other document (a letter or otherwise) will be accepted. You are required to carry these with you at all times while your stay at IIT Bombay during Techfest 2014.
3. Accommodation will be provided on sharing basis (you may have to adjust with the team members of the other team, also note that girls and boys will be accommodated separately). You will be provided with a mattress, a bucket, other essential commodities, and a limited space to keep your luggage. Since it might be cold, you are advised to carry a blanket with you. Once confirmed, the accommodation charges will not be refunded. It is going to be New Year time, and we really have a problem in getting accommodation at reasonable rates, and thus we expect you to cooperate and adjust in the accommodation which you will be provided.

5.Techfest and IIT Bombay would not be responsible for any untoward incident that happens during your stay at IIT Bombay.
Security Rules:
Participants are advised to note the following points about the security at IIT Bombay during Techfest 2014.
1. Entry will be only through the 'Main Gate' of IIT Bombay, all other gates will be closed for outside entry.
2. All student participants must carry their valid College photo ID card. Others must bring their valid photo identity for the purpose of entry. People without valid photo identity card will not be allowed inside the campus during Techfest 2014.
3. Alcohol, drugs, sharp objects and explosives of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the campus. Any other item if deemed unsafe will be prohibited. The decision of Security Team will be final in case of any disputes.
4. Those carrying their CPU, laptop, camera or similar electronic gadgets will have to get a 'Gate Pass' stamped from the IIT Bombay Main Gate at the time of check-in. Gate pass is also attached along with this mail, which you must fill and carry along with you. Your belongings will be checked on your way out of IITB and those who fail to produce their Gate Pass may have their belongings impounded.
5. No outside vehicles will be allowed into the campus during the Techfest 2014.
