· Experience of 10 years in System Analysis, Design, Development, Administration and Support of MS SQL Server 2008/2005/2000 in Production, Test, Development and Replication & Cluster Server Environments with extensive work in the development of client/server and multi-tiered applications using SQL Server 2008/2005/2000 and Development and Support of Oracle 10g/9i/8i in Development and Test Environment .
· Extensive experience working on T-SQL, SQL, PL/SQL.
· Worked on multiple servers using the Central Management Servers.
· Complete hands-on experience using third party tools like Adept SQL, PL/SQL Developer, and Tortoise SVN.
· Extensive experience with server side programming (Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers and Packages) and other database objects like Tables, Views, Cursors, Temporary tables, Table Variables, Indexes and User Roles.
· Performance tuning of the slow running queries and procedures by generating Execution Plans and running SQL Profiler traces.
· Worked with Explain plan, SQL Trace and TKPROF for optimizing Oracle SQL queries.
· Worked on replication issues such as replication latency, subscription and publication errors by analyzing the issues using Replication Monitor.
· Worked on Index fragmentation issues by either re-organizing or rebuilding the indexes based on the threshold values.
· Generated reports using SSRS based on user requirements.
· Worked extensively on complex SQL queries using joins, sub queries, correlated sub queries, analytical functions and inline views to retrieve data from the database.
· Worked extensively on User session activities and SQL Server blockings and resolving them.
· Hands-On experience and troubleshooting with SQL Server database administration activities like database installation, database creation, user management, Backup & Recovery, data migration, Replication(Transactional Replication, Transactional Replication with Updatable Subscriptions, Peer to Peer Replication, Snapshot Replication), performance tuning, etc.
· Experience on Oracle Database Backups & Recovery, Import and Export of databases.
· Extensive experience with Data Extraction, Data Transformations, Data Loading, Data Conversions and Data Analysis.
· Designed and Created Databases per client’s requirements.
· Excellent understanding of Database Normalization concepts.
· Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
· Extensive experience with software development lifecycle from Analysis through Testing and implementation phases.
· Adaptive to the new Technologies and Environments of Study.
· Excellent team member with good communication, interpersonal skills.
