I wasn't able to create the bootable USB using this process. It failed at the same step for 2 different USB drive.  I am using 16GB USB drives.

Did anyone else try this tool?

Hi all,

On the compliance server page for the dell image assist images there is now a new "Dell Image Assist USB Creator Tool v5.8.0.6" if you download the zip and extract and run it is a stand alone usb creator you do NOT need to be removed from the domain or futz with mcafee and saves a TON of steps for you.

Please make sure to copy the cabs over after making the stick and also format it as FAT32 to support future UEFI compatibility.

Thanks,
