Job Brief:
We
are looking for an experienced product management professional
to join us in
building new class of software applications for the Industrial
Internet &
Internet of Things (IoT) domains that will enable Smart
Factories and Smart
Supply Chains in the era of Fourth Industrial Revolution (aka
Industry 4.0).
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work
with cross-functional
teams to design, build and roll-out cutting edge applications
for the manufacturing
industries that will help analyze massive amounts of
manufacturing process and
quality data (aka Manufacturing Big Data) to identify
opportunities to improve
manufacturing operations by leveraging unique advanced
analytics and data
mining techniques. These new applications focus on providing
critical
actionable insights that can help manufacturers improve yield,
reduce defects,
minimize manufacturing cycle times and reduce manufacturing
costs.
Responsibilities:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Develop product positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
- Work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure the product specifications
- Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members
- Help with running client beta and pilot programs with early-stage products
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Requirements/Skills:
- Strong domain knowledge of manufacturing processes (across discrete and process manufacturing)
- Real-world experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Knowledgeble about shop floor systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Systems, Equipment, PLCs, SCADA, and Data Historians
- Experience with Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Advanced Analytics, Data Science / Data Mining is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Educational
Background – Bachelors or Masters in one of the following
disciplines:
Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Business Administration
