Hi,

Those of you who have video of TechAdventure events are encouraged to
allow me (and hence others in a similar position) to preview it before
you make it public.

This is not intended as censorship, it is just in case somebody in a
professional position said something which was meant for a closed group
only, or expressed an opinion which should not appear on youtube.

It is most likely that we'll watch the video and express our admiration
of a job well done, but it would be nice to see it privately before it
goes public. Please feel free to mail me privately if you think this
applies to you, either as a publisher or as a subject of video.

I suspect that the next TechAdventure will include one or two sessions
which are explicitly off-the-record so that some discussions can be more
specific and hence useful. No details here!

Thanks!

S.

What to do about the archive? The composites? It seems to me we are arriving at a new form of television documentary. It has been revealed that there may be another Tech Adventure so this story will continue. There are now a few blogs and web pages, loads of stills, and a growing number of video clips. Anyone can put together their own version of a sequence.

Watching BBC4 a few days ago I saw a rare performance by the Beverly Sisters that was cut into for an interview with Cannon and Ball. This sort of thing happens all the time. What I want is a complete song as performed. If I need an interview clip to explain it that should be a distinct choice.

Shevek, how to send files? DVD in the post?

Will
