Sorry its taking so long to get this done. We have had some
unexpected hurdles to overcome in editting this, partly due to our
inexperience in film this sort of event. I think we just brought our
camera's to mess around, and see if what we could do with them, but it
turns out we are more making a documentary. If we'd known that is
what we would end up doing we would have been more prepared...

First mistake is that I didn't realise that when I use DV tapes in
camera, I have to change a setting somewhere to make it record in DV
mode. I didn't. The three tapes I recorded were in HDV mode on DV
tapes. Not good and caused all kinds of problems getting the footage
on to the Mac.

Second, is we didn't realise is that the HD camera was recording wide-
screen and the other not. Making it more difficult to edit them
together.

This in addition to the problems on the day of realising we were out
of tapes, and other issues we have learned from. Next year we should
be able to get this going a lot more smoothly...

We are working on this and will work with Shevek shortly(*) on getting
relevant parties preview copies of their footage before the final edit
for release.

(*) No commitment on what 'shortly' means at this stage, as we are
doing this in our spare time, and I also have some fatherly
commitments over Easter, so watch this space...
