Listener Email

Troy,

Don’t buy HP! They are totally incompetent! I have an HP laptop not even a year old and the hard drive is dead with unrepeatable bad sectors. I called HP (in India, no less), and they sent me out a new hard drive post haste. The promised me that they would also send the proper recovery media to reinstall Windows 7. I get the new hard rive, but guess what? No recovery media! Only two worthless supplemental discs! So now I am back on the phone trying to get them to send me the correct discs and it’s going to take another week to get what I should have had in the first place. I am totally furious!

Keep up the good work, man.

HTC to start unlocking bootloaders in August

People upset that HTC hasn’t held to their promise yet

You shouldn’t have locked them to begin with!
