Dear International High School Faculty,

As you well know, many schools and districts around the country are struggling with how to best serve their ELL populations who are at high risk for dropping out.  Because of the great success of International High Schools and the proven effectiveness of the Internationals model, the Internationals Network is increasingly being called upon to provide support to schools outside our network to improve outcomes for all English Language Learners.  In response to these calls for help, Internationals has launched a consultancy practice to work with school leaders, district leaders, and individual educators who want to improve the services they provide ELLs by adapting some aspects of the Internationals Approach and learning from our schools' 25 years of experience in successfully educating ELLs.  This support for teachers and schools has taken on various forms, including professional development workshops for teachers, leadership development support for principals, intervisitations to International High Schools, and teacher and leader coaching.  Our initial efforts have shown that there is a high demand for our work, and we are anticipating that this demand will grow as more educators hear about these services. Therefore, we are in need of experienced Internationals educators, both teachers and leaders, to work with us as consultants, providing professional development and/or coaching to the educators of ELLs we are supporting.

If you are in touch with former International High School teachers or school leaders who may be strong candidates for this work, please forward this email to them and ask them to contact Jessica Lee at jessi...@internationalsnetwork.org.
