Hi folks, Had this email today from Anne and wondered if you had an answer. Apart from the unpleasanrness, possible smell etc - is there a ruling on this legally or H & S wise?
Opinions and knowledge gratedfully received.
Many thanks
John

Is there any reason why we shouldn’t use dead rabbits in their skins on stage?  Need them for a production of Private Peaceful but have heard it may not be legal.  I know all the normal health and safety stuff but is there anything specific?

In todays world there must be an alternative? I'm guessing that Health and Safety wise it'd be like using raw meat of any kind on stage.
But risk Assessing that would depend on exactly what you are doing with them (i.e if they are being handled). An interesting one....

I've just searched for the play and it was onstage last week.
Why not give them a call and ask how they got around the problem?
