Wikia's new rich text editor looks promising. It seems to be using this code:
https://svn.wikia-code.com/wikia/releases/200908.3/extensions/wikia/Wysiwyg/

( based on comments at http://help.wikia.com/wiki/Help_talk:Rich_text_editor )

Thanks Chris - glad I checked this thread - we are looking to do the same. Has anyone had any luck with this codebase?  We have cc'd a few guys that just tried it but it wouldn't work.

We're looking to integrating into omCollab: http://mike2.openmethodology.org/wiki/omCollab  All code goes here by the way: http://waterloo.openmethodology.org/trac/omcollab/browser
