Interesting bit of software here to help people enquire about the license status of data/information sets:

http://www.isitopendata.org/enquiry/start/?ckan_package=un-data - linked from the CKAN database, in this case the UN Data page .

Probably too complex a tool for what we need in Appropedia, with the outreach and fundraising we need to do (a spreadsheet seems more appropriate)... but depending how hard it is to set up, it could be useful as the community gets larger.
