Application Engineer (Mechanical CAE)

Penang

Responsibilities:

Provide pre and post sales technical support

Work closely with the sales team / accounts manager in driving the sales of mechanical CAE solutions

Manage and handle all technical related issues of the mechanical CAE software

Provide technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

Assist in promoting and selling a high-value Mechanical CAE engineering analysis software in South East Asia

Conduct technical training / presentation / demonstrations to customers and in events / seminars

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.

Working experience on CAD software such as NX, SolidEdge, Pro/E, SolidWorks.

Hands on experience on CAE software such as NX CAE, MSC Nastran, Ansys etc

Sound knowledge on concepts of Finite Element Method, Structural Analysis

At least 2 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Proficiency in English is a requirement. 

Must have own transport and valid driving license.

Must be willing to travel within South East Asia.

Fast learner, able to acquire new skills and independent.

Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
