MTU Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, better known as MSM, was incorporated in 1981 to supply MTU parts to users. At the time, the company was called Diesel Product and Support (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DPS). As MTU engines had already been in existence in Malaysia since the 60s and formed the majority engine population in the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN), the company quickly grew to sole country distributor of MTU products and complete service provider.

We are currently seeking suitable candidates to fill the following position:

ENGINEER - WORK PROGRESS CONTROLLER / COST ANALYST
Rawang (Selangor)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control work progress of vessel maintenance program
• Liaise with Technical Support Team in controlling the vessel maintenance cost within budget and authority
• Prepare and provide the vessel maintenance cost information to Work Scoping Manager and Finance & Account Manager
• Assist in Cost Query (CQ) meetings for verification of work completion during maintenance period.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• Working experience in the related field is preferable
• Working experience onboard ships or project overseeing experience in shipyard environment would be an added advantage
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and writing reports.
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills.
