SRX GLOBAL provides a wide range of electronics manufacturing services
into a diverse range of markets including banking, defence,
communications, traffic control, medical and gaming in Malaysia,
Australia and New Zealand. In additional to electronic manufacturing,
we offer a range of related specialist services including
electro-mechanical assembly, remedial maintenance and repairs, test
and prototyping, RTO-approved training, warehousing and distribution
and equipment disposal brokering. Due to expansion, we are looking for
a Component Engineer to join our team.

Vacancy: Component Engineer
Responsibilities:

Provide technical support on component issues to the Supply Chain and
liaise with suppliers and customers
Review component discrepancies at goods-in and resolve issues with
suppliers and customers
Review electronic component obsolescence and change notifications
(actives and passives) and make recommendations
Initial assessment of component alternatives as recommended by suppliers
Maintain integrity of Approved Manufacturers List and Item Commodity
Codes in ERP System
Co-ordination of Lead-Free materials project, working closely with
Lead Free Champion
Liaise with customers' component engineer on alternatives and changes
to components

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional
Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical)
or equivalent.
An understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
High level of organizational skills and attention to details
