Starting next year?

I'm thinking of starting Te Araroa next year (December '12 or January
'13). Unfortunately, none of my friends have the opportunity or the
enthusiasm to join me... Is anyone here thinking of starting the route
at that time? Let me know!

Hey Judith,
I'm a trail running from the US and am looking for something to do for
the next 4-5 months before the Western States trail run. Are you still
looking at doing the Te Araroa in January?

Hi, I'm also interested in this trail. I expect to arrive to NZ in
January 2013.
I'm new to hiking, but I'm planning to walk the Kungsleden in Sweden
and maybe the Camino de Santiago, before going to New Zealand, and
gain some experience.
I also would rather not do it alone. Contact me if you are still
looking for someone to do this trail, or to share some information.

I am starting the Te Araroa at the end of December, also 28, Im going to walk from Cape Rianga to Auckland, Then skip down to the central plateau and do some stuff down there, then skip to Tauraruas and hopefully be in the South island by mid february, Id love to walk with you if you are around.
