...almost.

Just catching up on posts here. These won't be a regular thing, just
the milestones.

First official post having started the walk though;

For those of you that were holding off to see if I started before
chipping in or pledging sponsorship, now is good. :)

Would enjoy meeting up on the trail at some point. I'll be watching
from afar and hopefully on one of my training days I can offer up some
conversation for a few miles.

Good luck! Enjoy the miles.

That'd be great. :) What part of the country are you in?

Today I'm in Kinloch campground next to the Kinloch Lodge. Looking at
your map you must be headed straight on for us. I'll be running the
trails in this area for the next couple of days and will keep my eye
out for someone that looks like they're hiking much more than just the
Routeburn. If you see a tall skinny guy with longhair and a small
backpack running the trails that will be me. I'll make sure to carry
some chocolate with me in case I run into you.

Hope the trails are treating you well.

Hey Daniel,

The trail is treating me well. Except for checking mail (sorry for
the stupidly late reply) and some financial bits which I'm about to
blog about. The bank isn't playing ball and it looks like I'll need
to take a couple of weeks break here in Tekapo to top up the bank
account. :/

How'd the trail running go? Still doing it?
