Ok here is the deal.

I've moved everyone over to the old google group for Teara Adan that I set up several years ago.


so we can just use it to discuss the 30th anniversary in 2013.

Well gang, next year 2013 marks 30 years of Teara Adan.

I am thinking there should be a get together for anyone who has ever played in this campaign in any measure. So I know I'm missing people in the email, and this should be sent to them as well.

I'm thinking something in the Fall of 2013 will be great.


Anyone have any thoughts on that ... and of course we can all meet in Iowa where it all started.

PERHAPS, if things go according to plan, I will have the funds to host a huge weeklong "CON" and invite and introduce hundreds of other to the game.  Long have we talked about an official "game" of the storyline.  2013 is a down year for me politically, so I have much more time and Lord willing resources.

Even getting say a community center someplace, like an elks lodge or
something isnt that expensive for a day or two. So we have lots of
options. The first thing would be to decide WHEN in 2013 we should do
this. I think the fall is the best since that's the origins of the
game anyway.  And the weather will be nicer ... wont be too hot or too
cold.

Fall Yes.  I won't know a good schedule until THIS fall, so we might be premature to pick now, unless people want to toss out GOOD SOLID dates that really do work for them.

I have no idea at this early date what might or might not work for me, so y'all plan something and I'll try to plan around it.  :)

I might be able to slip out for a weekend in fall. Cannot do it on any weekend with a holiday as I have my daughter. Always wanted to stop down and meet the gang. What are sleepin arrangements? I'm not picky just poor and financing the trip would be my only real concern. Sleeping bag on a couch is great by me. Though if any other would be visitors would like to split a hotel room I am absolutely cool with that.

We wouldn't plan this on a holiday weekend. Too many people always have other plans for those. I'm sure there would be several options for sleeping arrangements. If that is sharing rack space with someone at their house or helping to split a hotel room it would all be good.

If I go in in this I would secure a hotel and rooms for ex players as a package. Letting the Noobs pay for their own. I am not opposed to fronting 5k to cover those costs.
