Tea Party Sponsored Town Hall Meeting

Come and hear from several of our elected state and county
representatives as they recap this last year in officice -the pros and
cons - achievements and disappointments. A large part of this meeting
will be a question and answer time.


Town Hall Format

1. Introduction
a. Each elected official will be given 2-3 minutes to introduce
himself and recap his accomplishments and/or disappointments from this
past legislative session/year.

2. Question and Answer Session
a. The moderator will ask questions to the elected officials and they
will have 2 minutes to answer.
b. Questions will be directed to state officials or county officials.
c. Every state official will have the opportunity to answer each
“state” question as will every county official have the opportunity to
answer each “county” question.
d. Audience members will be allowed to submit written questions to the
Tea Party Board.
e. Members of the board will go through these questions and choose
those to be given to the moderator.
f. Any inappropriate questions or wording will be discarded.
g. Board members will choose questions as not to duplicate questions.
h. Board members will choose questions in a manner as to cover as many
topics as possible.
i. All questions asked will be fitting for the purpose of this event.
j. The elected officials should not be interrupted while giving an
answer.
k. Everyone should be respectful to those answering the questions and
to those in the audience.
l. Anyone displaying disorderly or rude behavior will be asked to
leave.

3. Closing
a. Each Elected official will be given 2 minutes to speak to his hopes
and plans for the upcoming session/meetings and to give his closing
remarks.
