Join Zuni Mountain Sanctuary for FAERIE U 2012 – NEVER TOO LATE TO SHAMANATE.
Ask not what your gathering can do for you – ask what you can do for
your gathering. We guide one another in myriad teachings. We speak
across thousands of miles without an utterance. We vibe our lessons
with a look. We sacrifice, we grieve, we groove, we shake, we
love-make. We are ever learning. We are Fae.
The Class of
2012 will gather to co-create space and time – to be bent, molded,
shaped, shifted, sifted, pounded, rubbed up and down, mudded and
slathered, embraced and made new. We celebrate, honor and share our
magic. This year’s curricula are entirely up to You. ZMS is our
container, let us hail her continued place in our unfolding legend.
Please contact zmsfa...@wildblue.net to offer up Your unique magique
for a conversation, a workshop, a themed dinner, a dance party, a craft
or skill share, a teaching, a focused heart circle, a movement class, a
film or art exhibition.

NOTE: 2012 has
been a unique and challenging year for your sanctuary in the high

pre-purchasing a lot of food and provisions. Here’s where You get to
create Your gathering! Please bring food items to share, which can be
easily prepared in our kitchen or stored in our cold room. Also, please
bring toilet paper, eco-friendly soaps and detergents, items for the
medicine cabinet, etc. Call it the new “we-conomy.” We gotta take good
care of ourselves and one another. Blessed Be.
GREASE THE
WHEEL! Please honor the land and caretakers with a suggested donation
of $10 - $20 per fae per day (more if you can, less if you can’t). No
one turned away for lack of funds. Feeling really greasy? Pre-pay via
PayPal! Just donate via our primary e-mail address,
zun...@wildblue.net or snail mail some coin to ZMS, P.O. Box 636,
Ramah, NM 87321! This will sooooo help in preparations. Feel free to
contact us if you’d like to arrive earlier, and beat some wigs, clean
some spaces, stock some supplies! It’s a hole lotta werque to put on a
good show in a good way!
NEED DIRECTION? E-mail your
registration to zmsfa...@wildblue.net and please include Name(s),
Contact info, Dietary restrictions (meals are largely vegetarian, but
some meat dishes are available), any Special Needs we should know about,
as specific as possible date(s) attending, any intentions you feel
called to portal in ahead of time. We can also be reached by
old-fashioned landline at 505-783-4002 (if you attempt to text us…best
of luck!). We will e-mail driving directions upon receiving a response
to this call, y’all.
OTHER STUFF TO KNOW: We are located in
northwest New Mexico near the town of Ramah and the El Morro National
Monument, in a remote, rural 320 acre landscape of mountain meadow and
pinion pine/juniper forest. We are about a 2.5 hour drive west from
Albuquerque. Elevation is 7200', so be prepared to adjust to high
altitude if you normally live at a much lower altitude. For those
concerned with health issues there are two outhouses on the land, though
we do not offer flush toilets on the land. Potable running water is
available in several places. One indoor and one outdoor solar heated
shower are available. RV parking space is available. Should you
require other lodging there is another facility with cafe and RV park
about 12 miles away that offers cabins with all modern amenities. Please
ask us about it if you require an alternative. We ask visitors to
uphold a community wellness "invisibility" code of honor around alcohol
use; in other words, please limit your alcoholic beverage to a
"shrouded" vessel. ZMS is a healing sanctuary, and therefore asks
respect for those following a path of sobriety. Main thing is we all
have fun while we respect ourselves and others. And respect is
paramount to loving boundaries – consensual contact is the way to go,
yo!
