Celebrating the Weeee!
An intentional community of Faeries who are exploring how to live more sustainably on the earth and how the earth can live with us.

Dear ZMS family and friends,

Already a busy year is wrapping up, to include much nurturing of the land: Zuni Mountain Sanctuary.  However, a hefty tax bill for 2014 is one big item where we need help.  More on that in a minute.

Update: just since the August Shaman’s gathering there has been a new tin roof put on the Studio, and the Tea House has used some old tin as new ceilings!  With the renewed energy of helping hands & donated resources the water system to the Common House functions with more efficiency to include gravitational force to move the water when cloudy skies inhibit the solar power.  Dry wall is up in Juniper, and insulation is up in the Tea House, all in time for the below freezing temps.  All of this is possible with the love of the community on the land, near & far.  It has been an exciting, rejuvenating energy that the Sanctuary has needed.  Thank you all so very much.  See the attached newsletter for more info!

As you know Zuni Mountain Sanctuary exists through the infinite generosity, hard work and support of those living on the land and all of you in the greater community.  Moving into our 19th year, ZMS is sustainable because of the enduring gift of community.  Thank you so much for being a member of this community and supporting the process of growth.

Today we are asking our supporters to make a 100% tax-deductible financial contribution to the Sanctuary.  The tax bill of $2100.00 came in the 4th quarter, with a surprising Double increase in the assessment.  and, And, AND!, thanks to a friend, we can offer you a matching donation for each dollar you commit up to $1000. We have already raised $250 towards that matching total!  Any financial contribution you are able to give at this time is greatly appreciated.

You can contribute one time or sign up to become a monthly contributor through Paypal on our website. Click here to contribute: http://www.zms.org/donate/

Your tax-deductible contribution helps to provide adequate resources for the operational costs of the sanctuary. This includes communications, physical equipment like chain saws and building supplies, as well as obligations such as the land taxes and governmental fees.

If you are curious about what ZMS is and has to offer, please make plans to visit Zuni Mountain Sanctuary. Begin by contacting the sanctuary by phone at 505-783-4002 or by email at zun...@wildblue.net to make arrangements. You can also learn more about the Sanctuary and see pictures of the building and the land by visiting the Sanctuary’s website: http://www.zms.org.

Be sure to check the Newsletter attached to this email to see all the new things happening at the Sanctuary!

Again, stay in touch; make plans to visit & thank you, THANK YOU for your support.
