I have a colleague from VMware - lives in the northeast. He is a
climber and has climbed Mt. Ventoux in under 3 hours (average 7.4%
grade over 13.5 miles with last 10 miles at 8.9%). He is interested in
joining (as he told me this morning from his vacation in the French
Alps!)

Any problem with adding him to the group?

No problem... the more interested riders we have the more likely we
will be able to field a team (or more)... if we end up with odd
numbers there are always individual riders looking for teams

Okay, so I got this new job and will be moving to WV next month......

The weather looks good there, and looks like some possible pretty rides along the canal and other bodies of water.

Congratulations. I lived in Bridgeport, Clarksburg, and Charleston when I was you. Great camping but brutal winters.
