After 13500 kilometres, 39 days, 12 countries, seven snaps to our
suspension, three flat tyres and one hell of an adventure, we finished
the Mongol Rally on Tuesday night. The last 600km was done with no
suspension or rear drive shaft, averaging 20km/hour. The last 50km was
done in the dark, no headlights, with the suspension literally
dragging along the ground. Poor Stacy-Jane only just made it. We
pulled into the official rally end point, Dave's Place in Ulaanbaatar,
at 11:30pm local time - and the victory beers began flowing.
We are aiming to get the blog up to date as quickly as possible, but
here are some more photos to keep you interested in the meantime:

And if that's not enough, keep an eye in tomorrow's Sunday Telegraph
in Sydney for an interview we did on Wednesday.
We flew to Beijing last night and are staying in a 5 star hotel for a
few nights to get clean and get some well earned rest. We then plan to
head our separate ways on Friday - Steve heading back to Sydney for
his sister's graduation (congrats Sam!!) and Dan back to London to
start work on Monday. We look forward to catching up with you in the
very near future.
Cheers
