Sydney BBQ plans changed - new venue

Hi everyone,

 

Sorry about the late notice, but we've been frantically trying to secure a new venue for the BBQ tomorrow. After two years of complaining about the weather in London we have really been put in our place by Sydney's skies, so have decided to move the BBQ to Bondi Bowling Club. We will have exclusive use of much of the club, including their BBQ and sound system, and they have beer at genuine 1972 prices. Well, almost. We have a park next door for backyard cricket and use of the bowling greens assuming the sun comes out, and there is plenty of seating inside otherwise.

It's about 100 metres from the Beach Road Hotel, where we'll probably kick on afterwards for anyone keen to stick around. The bar opens at 11am, but we will be kicking off around midday. All you need to do is bring yourself, your friends and, if you so desire, your family (the more the merrier) - we'll do the rest. If you have any spare US Dollars or Euros lying around that you don't mind donating to us for bribes at borders along the way please bring them along too!

 

We have also just received our first corporate sponsorship - 3 Minute Angels. Special thanks to Pete for helping out with that one. If anyone can - at this very short notice - get their company to sponsor the event tomorrow by supplying product that we can raffle off, please let us know ASAP. I have attached a sposorship brief so they will know what's going on.
