	Mongol Rally 2008 is here! Put down the shiny brochure of all-inclusive resort based evil, step away from the hop-on-hop-off backpacker bus of shame, walk past the high street purveyors of mind numbing boredom - the Mongol Rally is back for its fifth and most glorious edition for your pleasure. You don't want someone wiping with your backside with double velvet. You want to dig a hole in the desert, feel the breeze of the wilderness on your privates and proudly wipe with the scratchy map that you've just realised is pointless because you're completely lost. If the mere thought of all that adventure and doing your business freestyle in the desert is getting you excited and you've a hankering for driving to Mongolia in a crap car and raising sacks of cash for awesome charities, read on… When and how? The demand was so high last year that our servers pretty much self combusted and were reduced to an orangey mush, so we've got a shiny new system that makes it a lot fairer and easier to use. There will be two sign up windows of opportunity! 14:00 GMT on Wednesday 31st October until 14:00 GMT on Thursday 1st November 14:00 GMT on Tuesday 6th November until 14:00 GMT on Wednesday 7th November Instead of battling for an instant place, you will enter your details during the times above, then after each session the places will be randomly assigned by the website and an email pinged out with the news and instructions for securing the place. After the second sign up session, if there are more team applications than we have places, a waiting list will be atomically and randomly generated by the website.
