Hi Team,

How are you..I wanted to write about my feelings but after I saw Santosh's & Thanigz's  mail .. I thought I will write something which will have more readers ;- ) :

·     The April 25th morning was unusually warm and all enthusiasts were undoubtedly challenged by the sun...we were lucky to have some nice breeze come by our way in the middle..

·     I did an under 2 hr45 min 1/2 marathon, after three 1/2 marathons each of them is a memorable experience - people running for a cause, running for themselves, running for their loved ones - For a moment I felt that different flavors of life were running in front of me...

·     To add to the above the half itself us truly an opportunity for introspection, an opportunity to test your determination and one of the quickest ways of enjoying an achievement  (the results are out friends ...)

·     Welcome to all the new team swas members & congratulations to those of you who completed your first marathon

·     The ice cold beer was not readily available when I came back, the joy which beer and the sight of running buddies brought in yesteryears was quickly surpassed by my eagerly waiting wife....the beer was not far it was next in line ..and we enjoyed bud ice and slept under the shade of the trees...

·     We didn’t have any full marathoners this time from our group but we did meet couple of them who enjoyed the SPIRITS with us ...one of them ran 60 miles a week in the last couple of weeks .. and one ran 12 marathons in 9 states..kudos to their spirit.. we might not be able to do the marathons but as the below quotes put it.......................It doesn’t matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop - Confucius  ( courtesy Thanigai quote compilation)

·     So, let’s not stop ...we will meet again on May 9th.. more details and flyers to follow..

·     We should meet to rejoice our CMM success...any brewery recommendations feel free to share...we work hard and party as hard..let’s get there before we forget our pains...

Happy Running..

Chaitanya
