Hello there,
Weather was 41 degree, slightly drizzling the whole time, pavement is wet, favorite songs on the iphone, plenty of people to run with... can one ask for more... I enjoyed it.. Totally...
I enjoyed every bit of the Tom King Classic Half Marathon event past Saturday. Finishing inside the Titan's stadium is an experience of its own. It took 2:02 to finish the 13.1 miles. I am hoping I will bring this down by 5-10 mins before the CMM event.
During the run, I did a health check on my 6th mile and 10th mile and felt comfortable. My strategy for the last 3 miles is to maintain the pace and feel fine when I finish the run. It worked out just fine. My dress and shoe was soaked with water. Not sure if that is the reason, I left like wearing a wooden shoe on the last 2 miles. Also, I have been running in this shoe for last 2 years and I think it time for a new shoe.
Sharing my pains and gains with SWAS friends is the cure for the soreness. It feels refreshing now. Lets plan for a group run in the coming weeks.
Happy Swasing..
