Team,

Here is the script in both a PDF and word document. I have not
corrected the grammar or anything yet but I'll get that done later.
Please look it over to make sure all the content is correct. I'm not
100% certain I know what Larry and Steve plan to have done by the end
of the semester. Also, the script might be a little long, but I
thought it would be better to make it a little too long and cut it
than not long enough and have to add. Dr. Calliss wants the film to be
five to six minutes long. If there's something about the script you
don't understand, let me know. But I tried to specify texts, scene
transitions, and of course lines said by whom and whether they were
narration or showing the person actually speaking. I think it would be
good to try and film this and finish it by next weekend.

Mike-

Thanks for putting this together, it looks great.

I made a few edits to the beginning (which we can discuss), but I think the bulk of it looks good. I uploaded the version with my edits to Google Drive.

Again, we can discuss it in person, but my biggest concern is that adequately discuss both the walk-through from the user's perspective, and the technical topics behind it. I think the script does a great job of walking through the user's experience with the app, but that we could spend more time describing the design behind it. For example, in the script, we have a description of how the login system works (and all the levels), but it doesn't really explain the technical details behind what is happening (e.g. that we're making a call to the cloud, etc.).

I think we should discuss the script in person to finalize it (we also need to make sure it reflects the final version of the app), but I think it's generally good.

Great, that’s fine. I’m open to suggestions. I just wanted to get the main idea of how we are going to do the film. When we meet we’ll go over it and clear things up and also edit anything that could be better. Thanks.

Our Project, The Learn To Write Windows 8 Metro Application, was designed

to teach young children how to read and write. It consists of an easy to use

login system to access games, and lessons to help children write

and recognize uppercase and lowercase letters.
